Subterrel Sector after Battle 7

Faction holdings in the Subterrel Sector after the final battle

At the start of the great war that is known as The Subterrel Conflict, each of the three factions seized a portion of the Subterrel Sector. The Rebel faction started off with a swath of territory centered on the Azemin, Fersto, Yeseo and Kyroc systems. The Imperial faction started off with territory including the Saplin, Derxes, Varla and Ronnis systems. The Sith faction began with the Teyeong, Ragyss, Selaris and Pyaimm systems. The Subterrel and Polis Massa systems are not a part of the combat and are on the map to serve as references. The war will end when one faction conquers all twelve of these systems.

In the first battle of the Subterrel Conflict (February 3rd/4th), the Sith faction conquered the Varla system from the Imperial faction.

In the second battle of the Subterrel Conflict (February 10th/11th), the Imperial faction conquered the Teyeong system from the Sith faction.

In the third battle of the Subterrel Conflict (February 17th/18th), the Sith faction conquered the Saplin system from the Imperial faction and the Kyroc system from the Rebel faction. After a major battle in the Varla system, Imperial and Rebel forces suffered a defeat severe enough to require them to withdraw from the neighboring Saplin and Kyroc systems, which the Sith promptly occupied.

In the fourth battle of the Subterrel Conflict (February 24th/25th), the Rebel faction conquered the Selaris system from the Sith faction and the Ronnis system from the Imperial faction. A surprise two-pronged assault by the Rebels caught both the Imperials and Sith off guard.

In the fifth battle of the Subterrel Conflict (March 3rd/4th), the Sith faction conquered the Ronnis system from the Rebel faction and the Teyeong system from the Imperial faction. The Sith war machine rolled right through the two systems simultaneously.

In the sixth battle of the Subterrel Conflict (March 10th/11th), the Sith faction conquered the Yeseo system from the Rebel faction and the Derxes system from the Imperial faction. This battle knocked the Imperials out of the war, forcing them to withdraw from the Subterrel Sector after a long and valiant fight.

In the seventh battle of the Subterrel Conflict (March 17th/18th), the Sith faction conquered the Fersto and Selaris systems from the Rebel faction. This means that the Rebel faction only barely held on in the Azemin system.

In preparation for a climactic eighth battle, the Sith massed in the Pyaimm system. In a desperate, last-ditch attempt to turn the tide, the Rebels issued forth from Azemin and made a surprise attack on the Sith fleet at Pyaimm. In a dramatic reversal of fortunes, the Rebels were able to completely rout the navy of the Sith. Defeated in what they thought would be their hour of triumph, and called back to their home sector by troubles there, the Sith fleet departed the Subterrel Sector, leaving the field of battle to the Rebel faction alone.
